Description:
Orobact is an antibiotic for oral administration, with a bactericidal effect and belongs to the recent group of third generation oral cephalosporins. It has advanced physicochemical and pharmacokinetic characteristics differentiated from the first and second generation of cephalosporins.
Indications:
Due to its marked broad-spectrum bactericidal action, especially against the most frequent gram-negative microorganisms in respiratory and urinary tract infections, as well as gram-positive microorganisms that do not respond to other antimicrobials, Orobact has shown greater therapeutic efficacy in:
- Acute otitis media.
- Tonsillitis, pharyngitis.
- Acute bronchitis and acute exacerbations of chronic bronchitis, pneumonia.
- Uncomplicated urinary tract infections.
- Gonorrhea, uncomplicated urethritis and cervicitis.
- Typhoid fever.
