The diagnosis of Helicobacter pylori infection can be made, in addition to endoscopy, through non-invasive methods. Among these, the Carbon14 Breath Test is a useful method for diagnosing Helicobacter pylori infection in dyspeptic patients. The results of the application of the Test in 98 patients are presented, with a verification of the results by endoscopy.

The results obtained showed high sensitivity (95%) and specificity (98%).
