according to the Rome III criteria for functional constipation:&#13;\n<\/p>\n\n<ul><li>Fewer than three bowel movements in seven days with normal food intake.<\/li><li>Effort in defecation in more than 25% of evacuations.<\/li><li>Presence of hard stools or lumps in more than 25% of evacuations.<\/li><li>Feeling of incomplete evacuation.<\/li><li>Sensation of ano-rectal obstruction.<\/li><li>Need for manual procedures in order to facilitate evacuations.<\/li><\/ul>\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-text-color has-background is-style-wide\"
